June 2009 is our inaugural issue. This month we will introduce you to some of our authors and throw in a few articles related to working behind a bar. Of particular interest, is cohesiveness of the staff and the effect that infighting and retaliation has on the overall operation of an establishment.
The Bartender -Wait relationship has always been a fragile one. In the service industry the Bartender and Wait are supposed to work as a team to provide the best service possible to all customers.

The Red Death is an old school favorite and is growing with modern day popularity. The 'Red' is named after the color and 'Death' for the high alcohol content. This sweet but deadly creation is a combination of two other old school favorites; The Alabama Slammer and the Kamikaze. This recipe can be made as a cocktail, a round of shots (I don't suggest ordering just one if you're at a bar) and also a great party punch.
